The micropigmentation is a technique that is mainly used in the field to improve their aesthetic appearance, to correct imperfections or asymmetries of the face, in particular the shape of the eyebrows, eyes and lips. Fields of application are also extend in paramedical as a complementary treatment to surgery in the definition of the mammary areola after its reconstruction and in the repigmentation of scars and burns. Is also used to overcome the psychological distress in patients suffering from dermatological problems such as vitiligo (by staining of the bald patches of pigmentation) and alopecia (through the thickening of the scalp and eyebrow). The pigments used in micropigmentation, although this form of a tattoo, are not deposited in depth and therefore the drawing executed persists for a period of time, requiring periodic retouching. The treatment is not painful, except for a slight discomfort that is felt during the session. Women and men of any age can undergo micropigmentation.
